NACC Submits 14th Floor Case Documents to Supreme Court

Bangkok: The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has confirmed that it has submitted a statement and explanation regarding the 14th floor case at the Police General Hospital to the Supreme Court. This submission includes supporting documents related to the case, ensuring that the Supreme Court is equipped with all necessary information for its proceedings.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phuthep Thaweechotthanakul, Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy Spokesperson of the NACC, addressed recent media reports suggesting discrepancies in the handling of the 14th floor case. The Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions is set to hold its first hearing on the matter. Despite speculations about delays due to incomplete document submissions, Mr. Thaweechotthanakul clarified that all requisite materials have indeed been sent to the court.

Mr. Thaweechotthanakul emphasized that the NACC has fulfilled its obligations by delivering the statement, explanation, and supporting documents to the Supreme Court. The court has acknowledged receipt of these documents and has not requested any additional actions from the NACC. As planned, representatives from the NACC will be present at the Supreme Court on June 13, 2025, for the scheduled hearing.
