Lawyer Aing’ Reveals ‘Dr. Air’s’ Confusion and Unpreparedness to Provide Information in Legal Case

Bangkok: Lawyer Aing' has disclosed that 'Dr. Air' remains disoriented and unready to provide critical information regarding the deceased individual falsely listed as having ordered medication.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nitisak Meekhuad, also known as Lawyer Aing, visited 'Dr. Air' at the Central Women's Correctional Institution for an extensive period, marking his first official engagement with her as a lawyer. He reported that 'Dr. Air' is still in a state of shock, stress, and confusion, rendering her unprepared to address the legal battle ahead. Consequently, he advised her to come to terms with her current situation and adjust to life in prison for the time being, deciding against applying for bail at this juncture. 'Dr. Air' expressed a desire to remain in prison for now, allowing her time to reflect on the situation. She plans to revisit discussions regarding her case and potential bail on Monday, June 16 or 17.

Furthermore, 'Dr. Air' inquired about her family, particularly concerned about her young child and elderly mother who is currently caring for the child. She requested Lawyer Aing' to assist in looking after her family during this challenging period. In terms of the legal strategy, 'Dr. Air' participated in the investigation, acknowledging some facts while denying certain allegations, and requested additional time for review.

Regarding the accusations of using deceased individuals' names to fraudulently order medication, 'Dr. Air' claimed ignorance and confusion, stating her unpreparedness to provide information on this issue. Lawyer Aing' advised 'Dr. Air' against giving any statements until she felt ready, as premature disclosures could impact the case. He emphasized that his role as a lawyer is not to concern himself with the outcome but to ensure that his client provides thorough and accurate information, enabling him to offer the best possible legal advice.

Addressing the observation of clear evidence held by the police and the acceptance of the case despite high legal fees, Lawyer Aing' stated that discussions regarding fees had not yet occurred, as Mae Mo Air had directly requested his involvement in the case. Reflecting on his past experiences, he noted that a lawyer's success varies, and client cooperation, especially in terms of truthful information, is crucial for mounting a viable defense.
