Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, arrived at the Parliament building at 8:57 AM to attend the 27th House of Representatives' first ordinary session of the year, where he was set to vote for the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Despite being approached by reporters, Anutin declined to comment on the People's Democratic Party's move to nominate candidates for Speaker and Deputy Speaker positions.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin entered Parliament with a cheerful demeanor, smiling as he was accompanied by Bhumjaithai Party MPs, all dressed in blue. The party leader himself sported a short-sleeved, royal-collar blue shirt. When questioned by reporters about whether he felt any pressure from the People's Party's nominations, Mr. Anutin did not respond, choosing instead to smile and proceed directly to the meeting.
Further reports indicated that as Mr. Anutin was about to enter the elevator, a parliamentary official requested to take a photo with him. Despite the pressing questions from reporters, Anutin maintained his silence and focused on proceeding with the day's parliamentary session.
