Army Area 2 Delivers Royal Gifts to Troops on Thai-Cambodian Border

Surin: The 2nd Army Area Commander recently made a significant visit to Task Force 1-3 to present royal gifts to military personnel, aiming to encourage them in their mission of safeguarding the sovereignty of the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to Thai News Agency, on August 20, 2015, Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army Area, visited the Special Task Force 1, 2, and 3 of the Suranaree Force. He delivered items and sweets, graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, to soldiers stationed along the Thai-Cambodian border. Her Royal Highness had ordered these gifts to be distributed to all soldiers, reflecting her concern and support for the troops.

In addition to visiting the troops, the Second Army Region Commander also toured primary schools in the area. This visit aimed to uplift the spirits of teachers, students, and parents residing along the border, further strengthening community ties and morale.
