BAAC Secures Four State Enterprise Awards for 2025

Bangkok: The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) has been recognized with four awards for outstanding state enterprises in 2025, underscoring its dedication to evolving into a sustainable rural development bank. The bank is also preparing to enhance its services through digital technology to offer farmers access to affordable services.

According to Thai News Agency, the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) under the Ministry of Finance presented the 2025 State Enterprise Awards (SOE Awards) with the theme "Driving Society, Delivering Sustainability." The awards ceremony was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas. BAAC was honored with awards for Outstanding Board of Directors, Outstanding Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility, Outstanding Service, and Outstanding Creativity and Innovation.

The awards were accepted by Mr. Winairoj Thrapsongsuk, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of BAAC, and Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Manager of BAAC, along with several deputy and assistant managers at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, Bangkok.

Mr. Chatchai Sirilai expressed that the awards are a source of pride for BAAC employees, who are committed to transforming the bank into a pillar of sustainable rural development. The accolades, including the Outstanding Service Award and the Outstanding Creativity and Innovation Award for the "Digital Rice Sales Delay Loan System," highlight BAAC's dedication to improving the quality of life for Thai farmers.
