Bhumjaithai Party Sees Four More MPs Register as Total Reaches 101

Bangkok: Four additional MPs from the Bhumjaithai Party have reported for duty, bringing the total number of MPs registered over the past four days to 101, with 295 still pending registration.

According to Thai News Agency, the fourth day of registration for the 27th House of Representatives took place today at the Parliament building. The MPs who registered include Mr. Siam Pengtong from Bueng Kan Constituency 1, Mr. Suriya Paensukha from Bueng Kan Constituency 2, Mr. Viroj Sarawong from Bueng Kan Constituency 3, and Mr. Sakda Chantharasuwan from Nong Khai Constituency 3, all representing the Bhumjaithai Party.

Over the four days of registration, 101 MPs have completed the process, leaving 295 yet to register. A breakdown by party shows that 40 out of 170 MPs from the Bhumjaithai Party have registered, 49 out of 58 from the Pheu Thai Party, 2 out of 55 from the Kla Tham Party, and 1 out of 10 from the Democrat Party.

The parties reporting their constituency candidates include the Prachachart Party with four candidates, the Palang Pracharath Party with four candidates, and the Okat Mai Party with one candidate.

The Secretariat of the House of Representatives is accepting registrations from Members of Parliament daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
