Bus Overturns on Asian Highway in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Injuring 14

Phra nakhon si ayutthaya: A bus transporting factory workers overturned and fell into a roadside ditch on Asian Highway 1, injuring 14 people. The driver revealed he fainted while driving.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred on the northbound route towards Nakhon Sawan province, in the Bang Pa-in district. The bus, carrying employees from Navanakorn to a company in Rojana Industrial Park 1, was found lying on its side. Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scene to assist and transport the injured to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, initial reports indicate that none of the injuries are serious.

The driver disclosed to investigators that he experienced a sudden blackout, leading to a loss of control over the vehicle. This caused the bus to crash into a street light pole before overturning into the ditch. All 14 individuals, including the driver, managed to exit the bus through the windows before help arrived.
