Coach Oat Races to Revitalize Thai Women’s Volleyball Team for VNL Week 3

Bangkok: "Coach Oat" Kiattipong Rachata-kriangkrai, the head coach of the Thai women's national volleyball team, is expediting the recovery process for his players as they prepare for the upcoming third week of the Women's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in the United States.

According to Thai News Agency, Coach Oat is focusing on both the physical and mental rehabilitation of the players to ensure they are in peak condition. The team is dealing with minor injuries, but Coach Oat and his staff are assessing each player's readiness. Training sessions are being adjusted to address weaknesses in serving, receiving serves, and spiking. Despite setbacks, Coach Oat remains optimistic about the team's spirit and their hunger for victory as they head into the third week of competition.

Players "Aomsin" Sasipaporn Chanwisut and "Nong Bow" Kanyarat Khunmuang echoed the coach's sentiments, stating the team is in good spirits and committed to improving their performance. Though they did not secure a win in the second week, they remain determined and are intensifying their practice efforts. They also encouraged fans to continue supporting them.

The Thai women's team has completed two weeks of the VNL, with a record of one win, seven losses, and five points from eight matches, placing them 16th on the leaderboard. They are scheduled to play four matches in the United States from July 10 to 14, facing opponents including the United States, Germany, the Dominican Republic, and Canada.

Additionally, Somporn Chaibangyang, the president of the association, offered support to the team, expressing hope for better performances in future matches. He also confirmed their participation in the BYD CV League 2025 organized by the Southeast Asian Volleyball Association. The league aims to enhance volleyball in Southeast Asia, with both men's and women's teams competing across four countries. The women's team will compete in Vietnam and Thailand, with the Thai event taking place from August 1-3 at Terminal 21 Korat Stadium, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
