According to Thai News Agency, digital distancing involves creating boundaries between ourselves and the digital world, allowing individuals to reconnect with reality. Digital distancing can be implemented through four key strategies. Temporal distancing involves setting specific digital-free periods each day, such as avoiding cell phone use before bed or refraining from digital media during family meals. Space distancing designates technology-free zones in the home, like keeping screens out of bedrooms to promote relaxation or avoiding devices at the dining table to encourage conversation.

Functional distancing encourages a return to physical experiences, such as shopping in person instead of online or dining out instead of relying on food delivery. Meanwhile, mindset distancing involves adjusting one's mentality to avoid constant engagement with social media and online trends, fostering a deeper connection with oneself and the surrounding environment.
