Bangkok: The family of a young manager is heartbroken as they receive the body of Mr. Rut, a former sales manager in a medical equipment company, who was a victim of abduction and murder. His body was discovered burned in Chai Badan District, Lopburi Province. Mr. Wanchai, the father of the deceased, arrived at the Forensic Medicine Institute, Police Hospital, to claim his son's body for religious rites.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wanchai expressed the family's deep sorrow and mentioned that they are still grieving the loss, making it challenging to provide a detailed interview. The incident has left the family in deep distress.
In terms of legal proceedings and the protection of the family's rights, Pol. Col. Porntep Chalermkiat, Superintendent of Sutthisan Police Station, visited the Forensic Institute to coordinate necessary documentation and procedures. This action was in line with instructions from Pol. Gen. Siam Boonsom, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, to support the bereaved family.
The Sutthisan Police Station, in collaboration with Mr. Sahachat Limcharoenpakdee, President of the Phetkasem Foundation, organized the provision of a coffin and a funeral procession at no cost to transport the body to the temple. This gesture was intended to ease the family's burden during this difficult time. Mr. Wanchai conveyed his appreciation to all officials who provided assistance.
