Fire At Khao Sai Market Damages Eight Stalls And Injures Two

Phichit: A fire broke out in the middle of a fresh market in Khao Sai Subdistrict, Thap Khlo District, Phichit Province, damaging eight houses and shops and injuring two people. The fire originated from a cooking gas shop and quickly spread to neighboring wooden houses.

According to Thai News Agency, over 30 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to combat the blaze. However, efforts to control the fire were hampered by the densely populated area and heavy traffic obstructions. Despite these challenges, firefighters eventually managed to extinguish the flames, but not before significant damage was done.

Police are now questioning the son of the shop owner where the fire began. Villagers have implicated him, suggesting that he may have caused a spark that ignited the blaze. Authorities are currently in the process of gathering evidence to determine the course of legal action.
