Yotsanan Prepares to Unveil New Policies Amidst Songkhla Poll Results

Bangkok: Yotsanan, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, has expressed acceptance of all feedback and acknowledged the need for increased effort following recent poll results. He emphasized his commitment to working harder and announced plans to unveil a second set of policies on January 8th, aimed at enhancing public care based on his visits to various areas.

According to Thai News Agency, Yotsanu Wongsawat, speaking about the upcoming policy launch, stated that the new set of policies would address various shortcomings identified through extensive fieldwork. These policies are anticipated to provide comprehensive care for the populace and reflect the needs assessed during field visits.

Mr. Yotsanan explained that the timing of the policy announcement was a strategic decision, aligning with the deployment of party leaders to different regions. He noted that the chosen date was not directly linked to the upcoming election but was part of a pre-planned strategy.

Addressing concerns about the timing of policy announcements from multiple parties, Yotsanan expressed confidence, stating it was each party's right to decide their schedules. The focus remains on evaluating public needs and introducing policies to better serve both Bangkok and other areas.

When questioned about potential nationalist sentiment overshadowing the new policies, Yotsanan dismissed these concerns. He emphasized the importance of public perception and the need for government agencies to support the proposed policies. He believes there is ample time before the election to demonstrate the effectiveness of these policies.

In light of the NIDA Poll results from Songkhla, which did not place the Pheu Thai Party among the preferred candidates for prime minister, Yotsanan acknowledged the need for increased effort. He stressed the importance of respecting the public's right to vote and expressed readiness to make necessary adjustments. He also noted that other polls indicated a leading position for his party, which he found encouraging.

Regarding public feedback from his recent visit to the Khlong Toei community, Yotsanan expressed satisfaction with the positive reception. He noted that other candidates also provided detailed information, and the public's positive response during community outreach efforts boosted his morale and confidence.
