Fuse Kitikorn: From Thai Drama Heartthrob to Luk Thung Music Sensation

Bangkok: Tracing back the entertainment career of Fuse Kitikorn, a Thai-faced actor who seized a golden opportunity from Pairach Sangwaributr, he had a packed schedule of acting roles throughout the year. Fuse Kitikorn, a handsome Thai man with a sweet smile from Phitsanulok, began his career as a leading man in traditional Thai dramas on Channel 7. He was introduced by Book Rueangpetch and received support from National Artist Ahrang Pairat Sangwaributr, the producer of Samseian Co., Ltd., who cast him as the lead in his first traditional Thai drama, "Tukata Thong," followed by "Dab Chet Si Manee Chet Saeng," "Chai Chet," and "Chan Suriyakhat." He has since become a beloved leading man in traditional Thai dramas, with a large and dedicated fan base who continue to support and cheer him on to this day.

According to Thai News Agency, Fuse Kitikorn transitioned to acting in prime-time dramas on Channel 7, specifically the series "Singha Rot Banthuk" (Truck Driver), produced by Ta Nirattisai of Paa Sang Yaa Son Company. He played the role of Kaew Karavek, a secret service agent disguised as a country singer, and appeared in several other prime-time dramas on Channel 7, mostly action-oriented.

Besides his role as an actor, another passion that Fuse Kitikorn pursues is singing modern Luk Thung (Thai country music). Before transitioning to being a modern Luk Thung singer under the label "Hai Thong Kham," he released his first single, "Ro Teng," and many cover songs, while also continuing his acting career. His latest work is the drama "Det Asura Khan Kaew Nop Kaew." Despite moving from leading man roles to father roles, fans still admire his enduring charm.

Before becoming a full-time singer, he gained valuable experience in singing, dancing, and entertaining audiences on national stages, alongside superstar Luk Thung and Mor Lam singer Siriporn Amphaipong. Their collaboration began at a religious festival, leading Siriporn to invite him to perform together, ultimately becoming one of her students. Fuse Kitikorn has been performing concerts and shows across the country, maintaining a packed schedule throughout the year.

Another facet of Fuse Kitikorn's artistic journey is his role as a guest lead actor in the Likhay (Thai traditional folk opera) troupe of Kung Sutthirach Wongthewan, a national-level performer. His debut in Likhay acting came about after an invitation from Kung Sutthirach's parents, Chainarong and Thaveep. Fuse Kitikorn's Thai looks and Luk Thung singing ability quickly won over audiences and built a large fan base.

Before reaching his current status, Fuse Kitikorn learned and practiced various skills, from acting to becoming a Luk Thung singer under the concept of "Thai drama hero with a Luk Thung heart," performing shows across the country.
