Yotchanan Leads Pheu Thai Campaign in Roi Et’s Thung Charoen Market

Roi et: Yotsanan Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime minister candidate, led a campaign at the Thung Charoen Market in Roi Et province, attracting locals eager to engage with him.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Yotsanan was accompanied by key party figures, including Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Mr. Chakraphong Saengmanee, and Ms. Linthiporn Warinwacharoj, as they supported local candidates Mr. Sathaporn Wongsatthanapong, Mr. Chalad Khamchong, and Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphai. Upon their arrival, Mr. Yotsanan paid homage at the shrine of Pu Ko and Pu No before mingling with the public. Residents showed enthusiasm, presenting him with marigold garlands and requesting selfies.

During the visit, Mr. Yotsanan interacted with vendors and shoppers, engaging in local customs such as grilling sticky rice cakes. A vendor expressed support for the party by shouting, "We've already chosen Pheu Thai, number 9!" Others invited Mr. Yotsanan into their stalls for photos, while some left their stalls to urge customers to vote, highlighting the excitement surrounding the potential Prime Minister.

The lively atmosphere was further amplified when an elderly woman in a red shirt affectionately kissed Mr. Yotchanan on the cheek, drawing attention from the crowd.

Reporters noted that after the Pheu Thai Party's major rally at Siam Paragon, where they released a new policy package, Mr. Yotsanan and other candidates like Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat and Mr. Suriya Jungrungruangkit campaigned in 11 provinces across the Northeast and Central regions, including Roi Et, between January 24 and 27.
