Sao paulo: A massive fire erupted in Sao Paulo, Brazil, following an explosion believed to have been triggered by cooking gas, resulting in the death of one man who was trapped under the rubble and injuring three others. The explosion caused significant damage to approximately 10 houses in the Yaguar© neighborhood.
According to Thai News Agency, the So Paulo state fire department has deployed 12 fire trucks to manage the situation at the site, which is located roughly 16 kilometers from the city center. Rescue teams are actively searching for any additional individuals who might be trapped under the debris. Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosion might be linked to drilling work for a water pipe managed by the state-owned water supply and wastewater treatment company. This work may have inadvertently impacted a gas pipeline, leading to the catastrophic blast.
