Sisaket: The Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army, General Chaiyapruk Duangprapat, made a visit to Sisaket province to discuss the proposed 'border fence' plan. This proposal is set to be submitted to the Commander-in-Chief of the Army for presentation to the government.
According to Thai News Agency, General Chaiyapruk, who also serves as the Chief of Staff of the Army Operations Center, was present to inspect the area and receive proposals from the 2nd Army Area and the 2nd Army Area Operations Center. The discussions centered around the construction of a defensive perimeter along the border in Sisaket Province.
The main objective of the visit was to collect information and suggestions which will be forwarded to the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and the Commander of the Army Operations Center. These insights will be considered for presentation to the government in line with the security policy that has been assigned.
