Bangkok: The government has announced the organization of a club event to honor His Majesty the King on Coronation Day, May 4, 2025, at the Santi Maitri Building in Government House, inviting the public to join in offering good wishes.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, stated that on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 9:15 a.m., the Prime Minister will pay homage to former kings at Phra Thep Bidon Palace and pay respects to the Emerald Buddha at the Ubosot of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram in the Grand Palace. Following these ceremonies, at 10:00 a.m., the Prime Minister will welcome His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen at the Chatramongkhon Ceremony in May 2025 at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
Later in the evening, the government will hold a club event to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of Coronation Day at 7:00 p.m. at Santi Maitri Building, Government House. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, will preside over the event, which will be broadcast on the Royal Television Group of Thailand and the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand. The public is encouraged to join in offering good wishes.
The government has extended invitations to a broad range of dignitaries, including the Privy Council, former prime ministers, presidents of constitutional organizations, the cabinet, constitutional organizations, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Senate, heads of ministerial departments or equivalents, military officers, police officers, civil servants, political officers under the Office of the Prime Minister, ambassadors, honorary consuls abroad in Thailand, career consuls, international organizations under the United Nations, and leaders from various Thai industries and associations, along with their spouses, to participate in the Sannibal Club event.
The event will be broadcast via the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand and the National Radio Station of Thailand, Public Relations Department, starting from 6:50 p.m. The government invites all Thai citizens to join together in honoring and offering blessings on the occasion of Coronation Day, May 4, 2025.
