According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Songpol Cheevapanyaroj, Director of the Government Savings Bank (GSB), revealed that due to the challenging economic situation, coupled with rising energy costs and the cost of living affecting many people, especially small business owners who face liquidity problems and limitations in accessing funding for their businesses, the GSB is committed to supporting people's access to safe and fair-interested funding sources that meet their income-generating needs through the "GSB People's Bank Business Creation Loan Project." This loan offers a maximum loan amount of 50,000 baht per person at a low interest rate of no more than 0.75% per month (flat rate), without requiring collateral. This aims to improve liquidity, increase opportunities for starting or expanding businesses, generate income, and help people establish themselves stably and sustainably. The "GSB People's Bank Job Creation Loan" is available to small business owners, self-employed individuals, employees, vendors, and those with regular incomes seeking supplemental income, as well as service providers, who are Thai citizens aged 20-65. This is an unsecured loan (Clean Loan) with a maximum loan amount of 50,000 baht per person, at a fixed interest rate of no more than 0.75% per month, and a repayment period of up to 5 years.
