Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has laughed off allegations presented by iLaw that implicate members of his Bhumjaithai Party in a Senate collusion case. He dismissed the information as unreliable and firmly stated his non-involvement.
According to Thai News Agency, iLaw had submitted a document to the opposition whip, revealing the names of nine politicians from the Bhumjaithai Party allegedly connected to the Senate collusion case. Anutin, who also serves as the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, commented on the document, noting that he had not yet reviewed the news.
In response to inquiries about the list of implicated politicians, Anutin remarked, "Really? Everything is proceeding according to the investigation and fact-finding process." When questioned about his name allegedly being at the top of the list, he responded with disbelief, stating, "Really? That means the information is unreliable," before chuckling and asserting, "I have nothing to do with it."
