Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Topple Trees in Bang Rak District

Bang rak: Heavy rain and strong winds in Bang Rak district have led to several trees falling, prompting a swift response from local officials.

According to Thai News Agency, the Bang Rak District Office reported that the adverse weather conditions occurred this afternoon, causing trees to fall at multiple locations.

Officials from the Best (Public Works) unit, Sanitation Department, Municipal Police, and Bang Rak District volunteers were dispatched to address the situation. The fallen trees were found in front of the United Center building on Silom Road, on Narathiwat Ratchanakarin Road, opposite St. Joseph Convent School on Convent Road, on Sala Daeng Road, and at the entrance to the Sathorn Nakorn Tower on Narathiwat Ratchanakarin Road.

Authorities successfully removed the fallen trees without any injuries or property damage reported. They have advised motorists to be cautious on roads and sidewalks during rainy periods and to avoid parking under or near large trees for safety reasons. Residents are encouraged to report any fallen trees to Traffy Fondue.
