The earthquake registered a magnitude of 5.8 at a depth of 10 km. It occurred approximately 603 km southwest of Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province.
According to Thai News Agency, the seismic activity had no impact on Thailand. The authorities confirmed that there were no tremors felt, and no damages or casualties were reported in the region.
