Bang Khonthi Police Station officers inspected the crime scene, which was a house in Tambon Bang Phrom, Amphoe Bang Khonthi, Samut Songkhram Province. They found the body of Ms. Phonphan, aged 40, wearing white cartoon pajamas and white shorts, lying face up on the bed. There were signs of assault on her face and body. The perpetrator was none other than the deceased’s husband, who was waiting to give a statement to the police.
Mr. Jirasak, 40 years old, the deceased’s husband, said that they had been living together as husband and wife for 5 years, always helping each other to support the family. Until recently, his wife’s behavior changed. Then on July 23, he found out that his wife was secretly talking to another man. In his anger, coupled with the
fact that he had just taken methamphetamine, he physically attacked her by punching, kicking, and stomping on her until she was battered and bruised. But in the end, they made up. When he saw that his wife was not well, he told her to go see a doctor at the hospital. But his wife said that she was embarrassed by other people. In the morning, he went to hug his wife. Her body was still warm, but judging from her condition, she was not in good condition. So he called an ambulance to pick her up, but it was too late. His wife had already died.
