Kim Jong-un Inspects Memorial Site for Soldiers Killed Abroad

Pyongyang: North Korean state television KRT reported that Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, along with his wife and daughter, inspected the construction of a memorial for North Korean soldiers who died fighting abroad.

According to Thai News Agency, Kim Jong-un, his family, and officials participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the site. The North Korean leader personally drove a forklift to help move the trees, underscoring his hands-on approach. During the visit, Kim praised the fallen soldiers as heroes who sacrificed themselves without hesitation, asserting that no one in the world can defeat the North Korean army.

Reports indicate that North Korea has deployed approximately 14,000 troops to aid Russia in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine. Sources from South Korea, Ukraine, and Western nations estimate that over 6,000 North Korean soldiers have lost their lives in the conflict.
