Sisaket: The Ministry of Transport, BMTA (Bangkok Mass Transit Authority), and SRT (State Railway of Thailand) have jointly expressed their condolences to the families affected by recent fatalities in Sisaket Province. The authorities have committed to accelerating compensation processes for the victims' families.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Siriphong Angkasakulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport, led the funeral ceremony for Ms. Thiam Puangyod at Wat Kratai Don, accompanied by BMTA Director Mr. Kittikan Chomduang Charuwarapolkul and SRT Governor Mr. Anan Pothinimdaeng. During the ceremony, representatives from the insurance company presented partial compensation to Ms. Thiam's family. Mr. Siriphong assured the family that the Ministry of Transport is working to expedite the remaining compensation.
In efforts to support other affected families, BMTA Director Mr. Kittikan assigned representatives to attend the cremation ceremony of Miss Aye Aye Myint at Wat Phromwongsaram in Bangkok. Additionally, special task force officers were dispatched to Chiang Mai for the funeral of Ms. Supaporn Jongjit, providing assistance and support to the bereaved family.
