Narumon Pinyosinwat Opens Seminar to Propel Klatham Party’s Education Policy Draft

Bangkok: Mrs. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives and leader of the Klatham Party (KPT), inaugurated a seminar aimed at advancing the Klatham Party's draft education policy. Emphasizing an inclusive approach, Narumon stated that solutions should address real-world problems and meet the users' needs, rather than be crafted in isolation.

According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Narumon expressed her pleasure at collaborating with Khru Prida Boonpleng, MP for the party list and chairman of the Klatham Party's education strategy working group. Despite their past affiliations with different political parties, their shared ideology in education has brought them together. Khru Prida's dedication to educational policies, particularly in addressing issues within the Ministry of Education, aligns with the party's goal of fostering strength and sustainability for future generations.

Mrs. Narumon highlighted the significance of grassroots involvement in policy development, inviting stakeholders to contribute their insights. She expressed gratitude to the numerous individuals who have joined the Kla Tham Party, including the 50 working group members who share the party's vision. Narumon underscored the transformative power of education, attributing her own success to the educational opportunities and scholarships funded by taxpayers, and expressed her commitment to giving back to society.

She further elaborated on the party's vision of tailoring education policies to fit the distinct contexts of various regions, acknowledging the diverse educational needs across the country. Narumon called for collective efforts in developing Thai education, aiming for policies that resonate with teachers, students, and educational institutions alike.

Mr. Preeda Boonpleng praised the party leader for prioritizing education, which he views as crucial for cultivating individuals who will drive national development. He outlined the seminar's focus on identifying educational challenges and solutions, with input from both active and retired educators. The insights gathered will inform the creation of a policy framework to be presented to the party's executive committee.
