Phetchaburi: The 12th Border Patrol Police School Student Sports Competition, known as the "Chang Suek Noi Games," concluded with significant success, fostering youth development through sports. The event, held under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, was supported by the National Sports Development Fund and the Sports Authority of Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, the closing ceremony took place on April 25, 2026, at the Rajanives Athletics Stadium in Camp Rama VI, Cha-am District. Presided over by Police Lieutenant General Rungroj Thakoonpunyasiri, Commander of the Border Patrol Police, the event saw participation from Mr. Surat Charanoyothin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Physical Education, as well as other key officials, educators, and athletes from across the nation.
The "Chang Suek Noi Games" served as a platform for showcasing youth athletic potential while promoting unity and sportsmanship among participants. The competition emphasized the importance of sports as a tool for enhancing the quality of life for young individuals in remote areas and provided a venue for cultural and educational exchange among students from various schools.
Athletes from Border Patrol Police Region 4 emerged victorious, clinching the overall championship with a haul of 30 gold, 30 silver, and 23 bronze medals. This impressive performance secured them the Royal Trophy for the third consecutive year, a testament to their dedication and skill.
The ceremony concluded with the handover of the host flag for the next "Chang Suek Noi Games" to Border Patrol Police Region 3, amidst an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration, marking a successful end to this year's competition.
