Paetongtarn Campaigns in Chiang Mai to Support Pheu Thai Candidates

Chiang mai: Former Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, a member of the Pheu Thai Party, visited Chiang Mai province to support Dr. Teerapat Tanpiriyakul, the party's candidate for Constituency 1, at Jingjai Market. She was warmly welcomed by a large crowd of Pheu Thai supporters and greeted the people of Chiang Mai along the way. She briefly stated that she regularly visits Chiang Mai and today she was there to support the party's candidate and had lunch at the market.

According to Thai News Agency, Paetongtarn's visit was part of a broader campaign effort to bolster Pheu Thai's presence in Chiang Mai. Before traveling to meet and talk with coffee entrepreneurs in Mae Kampong Village, Mae On District, and the Mae Ton Coffee Community Enterprise in Doi Saket District, she also visited the Wualai Walking Street in San Kamphaeng District in the evening. The Pheu Thai Party aims to secure all 10 parliamentary seats in Chiang Mai, a significant increase from the last election where the People's Party won 7 seats, leaving Pheu Thai with only 2.
