Ple Nakorn Exposes Death Threats After Unveiling Facebook Scam

Bangkok: Ple Nakorn reveals chat messages from scammers threatening to hire someone to kill him at his house after exposing a fake Facebook page used to trick people into buying chicken curry. The threats followed Nakorn's efforts to bring to light fraudulent activities targeting unsuspecting social media users.

According to Thai News Agency, the volunteer couple, Ple Nakorn and June Kasama, are constantly troubled by scams. Previously, fraudsters created fake accounts selling fake "Mother June's Curry," tricking many victims into transferring money. Even though Ple and June previously filed a police report with the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau, the scammers continue to create new accounts to deceive victims.

Despite their ongoing efforts to combat these scams, the persistence of the scammers highlights the challenges faced by individuals in protecting themselves and others from online fraud. The couple remains vigilant, urging the public to be cautious and report suspicious activities to authorities.
