Supamas Chairs Key Meeting on Media Fund Allocation

Bangkok: "Supamas" discusses with the Committee of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund. Minister Supamas chaired a meeting of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund Committee to discuss effective implementation and ensure efficient use of allocated funds.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and Chairperson of the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, presided over the committee meeting. Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, Minister of Culture, and other committee members also attended the meeting at Room 109, Office of the Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister.

Ms. Suphamas stated that at today's meeting, the committee jointly considered adjusting the operational plan and budget for 2026 to align with the budget allocated by the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) office, in order to effectively promote work related to safe and creative media.

Based on the allocated budget, the Fund Committee jointly considered and agreed to adjust activities to align with the budget, prioritizing the most efficient and cost-effective use of funds. This ensures that activities achieve the Fund's objectives and policies, are relevant to current and future circumstances, and that the scope and timeline of operations are defined without impacting the Fund's core mission.

'Please rest assured that the committee has thoroughly reviewed the financial plan and budget in detail, focusing on efficient and effective use of funds to support the development of safe and creative media,' Ms. Suphamas said.
