Bangkok:Police have detained Panadda Wongphudee, also known as "Boom Panadda," for questioning. She has stated her willingness to comply with the legal process and is anticipated to remain in custody, with a formal remand expected tomorrow.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Wongphudee arrived at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) headquarters, accompanied by her lawyer, Ekkasit Srisang. The pair was escorted by police officers through a crowd of journalists gathered outside the building. Upon her arrival, Panadda greeted the media with a traditional Thai wai, appearing visibly fatigued and saddened. She briefly expressed her readiness to undergo the legal process but refrained from answering questions about the circumstances leading to her current situation, repeatedly apologizing to the media before entering the interrogation room with her lawyer.
The police plan to conduct questioning in accordance with legal protocols, and no press conference is scheduled for today. Official details regarding the case are expected to be released on the morning of November 7th, ahead of the suspects being presented in court for a detention order request.
