Pollution Agency Seeks Details on Private Sector Bribery Survey

Paris: The Pollution Control Department: The Pollution Control Department (PCD) has requested additional details regarding a recent private sector survey on government transparency, its chief said on Wednesday, pledging a full investigation into the allegations.

According to Thai News Agency, Surin Worakitthamrong, director-general of the PCD, stated that the department has not yet received official documentation or data from the "Zero Corruption" working group-a joint committee of private sector organizations-and its partners.

The department has issued a formal letter to the relevant parties requesting further information to ensure a thorough and targeted review of the claims, he said. "The department prioritizes feedback and observations from all sectors, especially regarding good governance, which is a core principle of our operations," Surin said.

Once the data is received, the PCD is ready to conduct a fair and transparent investigation based on verifiable facts to reach a conclusion that serves the public interest, he added. The PCD reiterated its commitment to operating under principles of good governance, integrity, and accountability, promising to update the public once official information is obtained.
