She thanked everyone and said that her greatest sorrow is that she didn't even get to speak with her sister before she passed away.
While rescuers from the Ruam Katanyu Foundation were loading Aunt Thiam's body into the vehicle, her younger sister lit incense to call her sister back home. Amidst the relatives who had traveled from Sisaket Province to receive the body, everyone stroked the coffin and said, "Come home, sister. Your family has all come to get you. Come home to us."
Meanwhile, another family of a deceased Myanmar national, Ms. Aye Aye Myit, 36, also arrived to collect her body today. During one moment, the family went to view the body for a final confirmation.
