Rising Temperatures and Changing Weather Patterns in Northern Thailand

Bangkok: Meteorology reveals that temperatures in northern Thailand will rise and the weather will be hot during the day. The Meteorological Department has announced that temperatures in the northern part of Thailand will rise, with hot weather during the day and light rain in some areas. People in Thailand are asked to take care of their health due to the changing weather conditions.

According to Thai News Agency, the Meteorological Department forecasts the weather for the next 24 hours, predicting that temperatures in the upper part of Thailand will rise, with hot weather during the day and light rain in some areas. The high-pressure area or moderate cold air mass covering the northeastern region and the South China Sea is weakening, causing the easterly and southeasterly winds that bring moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover the upper part of Thailand to weaken.

For the easterly and southeasterly winds covering the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea, they are moderate, causing some areas in the South to experience heavy rain. The waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand are moderate, with waves 1-2 meters high. The upper Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea have waves approximately 1 meter high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves are higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the aforementioned areas are advised to sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.

Weather conditions affecting dust accumulation during this period are also of concern. Dust and smog accumulation in the upper northern region is moderate to quite high due to the weak to moderate winds blowing over it. In contrast, the lower northern region, the northeastern region, the central region, and the eastern region are experiencing better conditions because of good ventilation.

In Bangkok and its vicinity, the weather is hot during the day, with minimum temperatures ranging from 24-26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures reaching 36-38 degrees Celsius.
