According to Thai News Agency, the championship title went to Ryu Hae-ran, a South Korean pro golfer whose form faltered in this round, maintaining an even par score. She was closely followed by Brooke M. Henderson from Canada, who shot a 7-under-par 64, finishing the four days with a total score of 19-under-par 265, forcing a playoff. Ryu Hae-ran proved mentally stronger, winning the first playoff hole, the par-5 18th, after making a birdie, while Henderson only managed a par.
