SEC Relaxes Submission of Form 56-1 One Report Affected by Earthquake


Bangkok: The SEC has ordered listed companies and companies issuing securities that were affected by the earthquake and were unable to submit Form 56-1 One Report within the deadline to request an extension, stating reasons for consideration on a case-by-case basis, by March 31, 2025.



According to Thai News Agency, the earthquake in Bangkok on March 28, 2025, has affected the operations of many listed companies and companies issuing securities, which may include the process of preparing the annual information statement for 2024 or Form 56-1 One Report, which is due for submission on March 31, 2025.



The SEC acknowledges and understands the impact of the incident. Therefore, it allows listed companies and companies issuing securities that are affected and cannot submit Form 56-1 One Report on time to submit a request for an exemption to the SEC by March 31, 2025, stating the reasons and the expected time frame for submitting Form 56-1 One Report for consideration on a case-by-case basis. In addition, listed companies are required to disclose such information through the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s listed company information disclosure system (SETLink system) so that investors are aware of the information.
