Sister of Hill 350 Hero Prepares to Honor Late Brother’s Dreams

Sisaket: "Jamin's sister" is sad to celebrate New Year's without her brother. The sister of Sergeant Min, the hero of Hill 350, is saddened to celebrate New Year's without her brother. She is heartbroken but also proud and ready to help him fulfill two dreams: building a house and pursuing music. She is preparing to release a single of a song he composed on January 7th.

According to Thai News Agency, after a three-day ceasefire and the situation beginning to return to normal, people in many border villages have returned to celebrate the New Year with their families. However, some families were unable to celebrate fully, such as the family of Sergeant Major Ananda Udon, the brave soldier who died while performing his duty protecting the nation's sovereignty on the battlefield of Hill 350.

At the home of Sergeant Ananda, or Sergeant Min, in Sisaket Province, Ms. Suphaphat Udon, 46, Sergeant Min's older sister, lit incense to let Sergeant Min know that he no longer needs to worry; the Thai soldiers have successfully captured Hill 350. She prayed for his soul to rest in peace and ascend to heaven.

Ms. Suphapassorn revealed that every year during the New Year, Sergeant Min would return to his hometown to celebrate and cook delicious food for his father and relatives, and to participate in merit-making ceremonies for his deceased mother. However, this year was the first time Sergeant Min wasn't there to celebrate New Year with the family. She consoled herself by thinking that he was still alive but had gone to perform his duty on the border. Even though Sergeant Min is gone, they will continue to show him love and warmth. She wanted to tell him not to worry about anything anymore - he was the pride of his family and the entire country of Thailand.

Jaa Min's sister said that before her brother passed away, he had two hopes: 1. To build a house for their father because their current house was being eaten away by termites and was falling apart. 2. Jaa Min dreamed of making his own music and had already written some songs, but he passed away before he could fulfill them. Therefore, he asked his younger brother, Fluke, to sing these songs as his representative, and she, as Jaa Min's sister, will sing the songs he wrote to help fulfill his dream. She then asked Jaa Min's fans and Mali's fans to follow and support the song, which will be released on January 7, 2026.
