Supachai Criticizes Prachachart Party for Campaign Signs on Mosque Fence

Satun: Supachai Jaisamut has raised concerns about the Prachachart Party's campaign tactics, specifically regarding the placement of campaign signs on mosque fences and at the office of the Islamic Committee of Thailand in Satun. He questioned whether these actions might violate election laws.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Supachai, a candidate for Member of Parliament on the party list and chairman of the legal working group of the Bhumjaithai Party, took to Facebook to express his disapproval. He shared a picture of a campaign sign featuring Mr. Wan Muhammad Nor Matha, leader of the Prachachart Party, displayed on a mosque fence, and questioned the appropriateness of this campaign strategy.

Mr. Supachai reported receiving information and photographs depicting campaign signs of the Prachachart Party in Satun province. These signs, featuring Mr. Wan Muhammad Nor Matha's image, were placed on the fences of several mosques and on the fence of the Satun Provincial Islamic Committee office. He questioned whether these actions breached election laws and deemed them inappropriate and disrespectful.
