Thai Stocks Rise as SET Closes Morning Session Up 12 Points

Bangkok: Thai stocks showed positive momentum as the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) closed the morning session at 1,268.69 points, marking an increase of 12.00 points or 0.95%. The trading value for the session was approximately 20.815 billion baht.

According to Thai News Agency, analysts anticipated a strong performance in the morning session, although clear new positive factors were not evident. The improvement in the situation with the southern floods, which is now entering the recovery phase, has contributed to buying pressure in several stocks. Notably, DELTA stocks played a significant role in pushing the index towards the 1,270-point mark. Additionally, foreign investor interest may be stimulated by long signals in SET50 Futures observed late last week.

The market resistance is currently identified at 1,270-1,275 points, while the support level is projected to be between 1,250 and 1,264 points.
