Thammanat Phromphao Enjoys Family Vacation in Finland Amidst Government Formation News

Helsinki: "Jubjib" posts a series of photos of "Thammanat" taking his family to see the Northern Lights in Finland. Thammanat is vacationing with his family in Europe. His wife has been posting a series of Instagram stories showing him shoveling snow in front of their log cabin, playing chess with their son, and taking their children to Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, Finland.

According to Thai News Agency, heartwarming family photos of Captain Thamanat Phromphao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Kla Tham Party, amidst a pristine snowy landscape, were shared via the Instagram story of his wife, Thanaporn Sriwirach, or "Jubjib." The images and videos were posted consecutively during their vacation in Finland.

The series of photos shows Captain Thamanat in an orange and black winter coat walking in a snowy field with his wife, playing in the snow with his son and daughter, and shoveling snow in front of the log cabin where the family is staying, all amidst the winter scenery of Northern Europe.

The interior footage of the residence also shows Captain Thamanat playing chess with his son at a wooden table, reflecting a simple family moment of relaxation.

Additionally, the family visited Santa Claus Village, located in Rovaniemi, Lapland, in northern Finland, near the Arctic Circle. This is a popular tourist destination and an area with a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights during this season.

Previously, Captain Thamanat stated in an interview that his trip to see the Northern Lights in Europe was a long-planned itinerary. Originally, he had indicated he would travel by the end of February, as he assessed that the government formation process might not be completed quickly due to complaints regarding the election.

Later, when uncertainty arose as to whether the Kla Tham Party would be invited by the Bhumjaithai Party to join the government, he jokingly suggested that he might only travel for one day. However, the latest reports indicate that he departed on the night of Friday, February 20th, and is scheduled to return to Thailand on Tuesday, February 24th. He will then begin his duties at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives on Wednesday, February 25th.

This trip takes place amidst news of the formation of a 300-seat government, which excludes the Kla Tham Party and is likely to function as the opposition.
