Trump Attends Funeral of Soldiers Killed in Iran Conflict

Dover: U.S. President Donald Trump attended the funeral of six U.S. soldiers at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. These soldiers lost their lives in an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait as part of the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran. President Trump expressed his condolences, acknowledging the sad nature of the event and the possibility of further casualties, while emphasizing efforts to minimize American losses.

According to Thai News Agency, Iranian leaders have criticized the United States' actions, claiming that the U.S. is failing to achieve its strategic goals in the region. Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that the U.S. plan to destabilize Iran and create political division has not succeeded. He warned that Iran would retaliate against U.S. bases in the region if they are used for operations against Iran and declared that Iran will not engage in negotiations with the U.S. at this time.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties. Iran reports at least 1,332 dead and thousands injured. Israel and Lebanon have also suffered losses, with 11 and 132 deaths respectively, due to Israeli and retaliatory attacks. Several Gulf countries reported 11 deaths and hundreds injured from Iranian retaliatory actions. The United States has confirmed the deaths of 6 soldiers and 18 wounded from Iranian attacks on U.S. bases in Kuwait.
