Bangkok: The Second Army Region has reported the detection of 93 Cambodian drones creating disturbances along the Thai-Cambodian border, with Cambodian troops still on the move. Forces from both sides are currently holding their positions, prepared for potential emergencies.
According to Thai News Agency, the 2nd Army Region Operations Center has summarized the situation along the border. They observed movement from the Cambodian side, with troops, cars, and trucks advancing into certain areas. Despite the presence of the drones, both Thai and Cambodian forces are maintaining their positions as a precautionary measure.
In addition to the drone activity, over a hundred Cambodian soldiers have been seen mobilizing towards the border. A video clip released by Cambodians shows these soldiers lined up, each equipped with a backpack and mat, preparing to join the front line.
Another video, captured by Cambodian villagers, shows the transport of military equipment by the Cambodian army. Trucks carrying RM-70 multiple-barrel rocket launchers and 122mm D-30 towed field artillery pieces were spotted heading towards the border, indicating a significant military buildup.
An image reveals eight Cambodian soldiers climbing a rocky mountain with supplies and PVC pipes, suggesting they may have entered Thai territory stealthily.
