According to Thai News Agency, at 12:20 PM on September 25, 2015, the Rajamanu Task Force reported that the Burmese army is still attempting to advance from the west, north, and east into the area of Ban Leke Ko and Ban Tee Mae Wakhi, Myawaddy District, Myawaddy Province, Karen State, Union of Myanmar. On the opposite side of Ban Mai Mae Kon Ken, Village No. 2, Mahawan Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province, 5 kilometers from the border, there was a clash with the Myanmar anti-military forces.

Both sides used drones to drop bombs to support their respective attacks. During the clashes, Myanmar soldiers from the Lak Cut Tong Operations Base periodically fired heavy weapons at targets in the area. Later, between 4:05 and 4:10 PM, the Myanmar military used two YAK-130 aircraft to drop three bombs against anti-government forces in the areas of Ban Leke Ko and Ban Tee Mae Wakhi. Currently, the Myanmar military has been unable to advance into the areas of Ban Leke Ko and Ban Tee Mae Wakhi. Both sides continue to confront each other and engage in intermittent clashes, with no impact on the Thai side.
