Metallica Fans Banned for Life After Scaling 50-Meter Pole During Concert

Perth: A wild incident unfolded at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia, during Metallica's M72 World Tour, when two fans climbed a 50-meter pole in the middle of the band's performance.

According to Thai News Agency, the fans, Beau William Loch Rollings (20) and Rory Hugh Culbert (23), were intoxicated when they decided to climb the scaffolding of the stage. The duo reached heights from 10 meters to 50 meters, remaining there for over 20 minutes before being detained by officers and charged with trespassing.

The court has since sentenced Beau with a fine of AU$1,000 (approximately 24,000 baht) and imposed a lifetime ban from Optus Stadium for both individuals. The defendants' lawyer attributed the act to "just an act of foolishness," describing it as an expensive lesson that marred their rock and roll experience.
