Palang Pracharath Party Candidates Seek Blessings at City Pillar Shrine for Bangkok Elections

Bangkok: Palang Pracharath Party's parliamentary candidates for Bangkok, led by "Ruangrai" and "Captain Mark," visited the City Pillar Shrine to seek blessings, draw their candidate numbers, and submit their election application documents.

According to Thai News Agency, after drawing their candidate numbers and submitting necessary documents, Pol. Lt. Col. Wattanarak Amnaraksordech, the candidate for Bangkok Constituency 7 and an executive committee member of the Palang Pracharath Party, along with Mr. Ruangrai Leekitwattana, candidate for Bangkok Constituency 4, led the group of candidates in paying respects at the shrine. As part of the ceremony for good fortune, they offered garlands, tied three-colored silk ribbons, and refilled the oil lamps.

The candidate numbers, crucial for the upcoming election campaign, were revealed as follows: Constituency 2, Mr. Nikm Saengsirimawinong, number 12; Constituency 3, Mr. Teerapong Mongkolwattanaleela, number 8; Constituency 4, Mr. Ruangrai Leekitwattana, number 5; District 5, Ms. Bunyanuch Panitihiranya, number 2; District 7, Police Lieutenant Watthanarak Amnaraksordech, number 9; District 8, Mr. Anuchan Kwangthong, number 6; and District 11, Mr. Theerawut Kaewpayot, number 1.

Further candidate numbers were announced for Districts 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 30, and 32, with numbers ranging from 1 to 14. Some candidates with incomplete application documents, as well as those who have not yet applied, are expected to submit their documents on subsequent days.
