Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized in Critical Condition

Miami: Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, aged 81, has been hospitalized in Florida and is in critical but stable condition.

According to Thai News Agency, Ted Goodman, Giuliani's personal spokesman, confirmed through social media that Giuliani is fighting an undisclosed illness and requested public support and prayers. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump, via Truth Social, praised Giuliani as a formidable figure and the best mayor New York City has known, attributing Giuliani's health issues to stress from political adversaries.

The precise cause of Giuliani's illness remains unknown. However, it was reported that during his online program, America's Mayor Live, last Friday, he exhibited symptoms of coughing and a hoarse voice and mentioned to his audience that he was experiencing discomfort with his voice.

Back in September 2025, Giuliani was involved in a car accident in New Hampshire, suffering a fractured thoracic spine and multiple lacerations. These injuries required him to use a wheelchair for an extended period. He has also faced numerous legal challenges and lawsuits related to his role in the 2020 election efforts for Trump, which have led to significant financial difficulties.
