Bangkok: The Cabinet has approved a central budget of 452 million baht to provide compensation to 91 military personnel injured in the Thai-Cambodian conflict. This financial assistance is aimed at supporting those who have been affected by the cross-border incident.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the Cabinet has sanctioned a budget allocation for the fiscal year 2026. This allocation, drawn from the central budget's emergency reserve fund, will be distributed among the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, the Royal Thai Army, and the Royal Thai Navy, amounting to a total of 452,350,000 baht. The Ministry of Defence proposed this initiative to provide relief to the 91 personnel who have suffered both physically and mentally due to the conflict on the Thai-Cambodian border.
