According to Thai News Agency, Channel 9 presents high-quality programs that blend informative entertainment with career development opportunities. These programs, supported by the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund and produced by DC Content Co., Ltd., air every Saturday at 10:30 AM. This particular variety show, "Dreams, Career Building," showcases how challenges can serve not as barriers but as catalysts for career advancement. It highlights the relentless learning spirit of seven individuals with disabilities who have turned their inspirations into reality and designed their own lives. The program is inclusive, offering Closed Captioning (CC), Audio Description (AD), and sign language interpretation services.
This week's episode focuses on "PP - Peerach Thaomho," a young man with an intellectual disability who has overcome significant challenges to work successfully as a Flash Home counter staff member at Father Ray's Special Needs School. As a child, PP faced numerous hurdles, including communication difficulties and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. His fear of germs required frequent handwashing, and communication was further hampered by repetitive questioning. PP's mother was deeply concerned about his future and the possibility of employment opportunities. However, a turning point occurred when PP attended Father Ray's Special Needs School. Here, he benefited from an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to his strengths-diligence, punctuality, and responsibility. This educational support enabled him to master his duties, including entering data, weighing packages, and processing information accurately on back-end systems.
