Bangkok: The new Ministry of Education is taking a proactive approach by promoting its "1-2-5" policy to transform communication in the digital age, focusing on "understanding and accessibility." The initiative is designed to revolutionize interaction within the ministry, aiming to build trust and ensure clear communication with all target groups.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Tatiyaphat Pitisethaphan, the newly appointed spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, announced the "1-2-5" policy after assuming his position. He emphasized that the Ministry of Education, being a large organization impacting all societal groups, requires a communication strategy that not only disseminates information but also acts as a "central information hub" that is flexible and easily accessible.
The "1-2-5" policy includes several key components. Unity is prioritized, aiming to streamline communication across the ministry by implementing a two-way communication system. This approach involves actively listening to the voices of students and teachers in the field to inform policy decisions. Additionally, the policy focuses on promoting the proactive policies of Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Minister of Education, and Mr. Akranan Kankittinant, Deputy Minister of Education, to achieve tangible and swift results.
The policy outlines five key missions: leading proactive communication to influence social trends, modernizing corporate image management, effectively managing crises, linking databases between affiliated agencies, and fostering public confidence and pride in the Ministry of Education. Mr. Tatiyaphat emphasized that the primary goal is to make the Ministry of Education an organization that is understood, accessible, and trusted by the public, especially students and parents who are central to its mission.
