Vietnamese Foreign Minister Engages in Diplomatic Talks with North Korean Officials

Pyongyang: Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung engaged in diplomatic discussions with high-ranking officials in North Korea, as reported by North Korea's official Korean news agency, KCNA. The meetings took place in Pyongyang, where Le Hoai Trung met with Cho Yong-won, the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea.

According to Thai News Agency, video footage captured the meeting between Le Hoai Trung and Cho Yong-won, which occurred last Friday. The Vietnamese delegation, led by Le Hoai Trung, arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday, serving as special envoys of Vietnamese President To Lam.

Le Hoai Trung also held discussions with North Korean Foreign Minister Cho Son-hui on Wednesday. Both sides reportedly agreed to enhance interaction and cooperation across various areas. The agreements aim to strengthen strategic communication and support between the foreign policy organizations of both nations.
