Prime Minister to Inspect Train-Bus Collision Site in Bangkok

Bangkok: Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is set to return to Bangkok this evening to inspect the site of a recent train-bus collision at the Makkasan railway crossing. This visit follows his official engagements in Phetchabun province.

According to Thai News Agency, after completing his duties in Phetchabun, where he will preside over the opening ceremony of the 2026 Hug Bang Fai Phu Toey Festival at the Phu Toey Subdistrict Municipality Office, the Prime Minister will make his way back to Bangkok. The collision, which took place near the Rama 9-Asok Phetchaburi intersection on Asok Din Daeng Road, resulted in multiple injuries and fatalities. The Prime Minister is anticipated to arrive at the accident site between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM today to assess the situation personally.
